Frequently Asked Questions

Will the price for repair I see on the website be what I am charged? The prices shown on our website are accurate for the faults shown. However, it is possible that there may be more than one fault with your console. When we receive your console we will always email you with a quote before commencing work. If on the rare occasion we find another fault from that quoted, we will always keep you informed and give you the option for the repair not to go ahead.

Is there a warranty?
Akita Consoles will give a two month warranty on all repairs. Akita Consoles will replace any faulty parts or correct any problems with your console providing the problem is the same as the original problem we had repaired. We reserve the right to not warranty any console that has been abused, or has physical or liquid damage. We also recommend that all consoles are sent to us in good packaging and are insured for damage in transit. We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery for small consoles and Parcels2Go for larger consoles.

Do you use genuine parts?
We always use genuine parts where possible. Some components are only available in generic form, but we will always use the best quality parts.

How long will the repair take
We will usually return your console within five days of receipt. If for some reason we donít have a component in stock, we will inform you of this when we give you the quote.
